Using STAR
Use STAR only for authorized program purposes. Provide accurate information, protect your account, and submit only content you have the right to share. Do not impersonate another person, access someone else's records, or misuse the messaging service. Access may be restricted for misuse or to protect the program.
Participation, eligibility, guardian approval, activities, points, and any awards are governed by the program rules provided separately by your program representatives. A displayed points balance or estimated award is not a promise of payment. These website and messaging terms do not replace those program rules.
STAR SMS program
STAR messages may include program and activity announcements, reminders, submission and review updates, points information, and replies to your support requests. Phone verification messages are sent when needed for a verification you request.
How you opt in
Follow the SMS enrollment instructions provided by your STAR program representative and give your express consent to receive STAR texts. Providing a phone number, viewing these pages, or agreeing to general website terms does not by itself enroll you in SMS. Consent to text messages is voluntary, separate from program terms, and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Consent does not authorize messages for unrelated campaigns.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Messages may recur based on your participation, requests, and program updates. Message and data rates may apply. Your wireless plan determines any charges; contact your carrier with billing questions.
Stopping or resuming messages
Reply STOP to any STAR text to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. Program messages will stop unless you opt in again. If you wish to resume, follow your program representative's instructions or reply START where supported; current enrollment and required consents must still be in place.
Getting help
Reply HELP for assistance or email star@cedarbrook.ai. Reply to the STAR number shown in your invitation or received message. Tell us if your number changes so your contact information can be updated.
Delivery
SMS availability depends on your carrier and device. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging is not an emergency service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes information collection, service providers, website diagnostics, and your choices. Mobile phone information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Minor participants
If you are a minor, involve your parent or legal guardian and obtain any consent required by your program and applicable law before participating.
